We love having volunteers in our Club sites! Volunteers bring in fresh faces, ideas, talents and expertise.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. All volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer application, meet with staff to determine the best use of their skills, and be fingerprinted (paid for by Boys & Girls Club) before starting.

Special Program Leads Do you have a strong interest, talent, or skill that would like to share with Boys & Girls Club members? We are constantly looking for ways to add diversity, spice, and fun to our programs and would like to offer programs in Dance (Ballroom, Street, Jazz, Etc.), juggling & magic, animals and the environment, healthy eating and/or develop clubs for chess, photography, books, and much more. Contact us and we can help develop a program around your interests/skills.
Program Assistants Volunteers are needed to assist our Site Directors. Volunteers should have a desire to work with elementary and/or middle school youth, have good leadership skills and the ability to work independently. Our Club sites provide programs in the following five core areas: Character, Leadership, and Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; Sports, Fitness, and Recreation. Your experience in one or more of these area could help our Site Directors provide additional programs and activities to the members.
Homework Helpers/Tutors Volunteers should be patient and reliable and able to assist students on an individual basis on a specific subject matter including math, English, science, social studies. Volunteers should have knowledge of middle school level curriculum and how to interact with youth. Volunteers should be able to commit to a minimum of one hour per week, for a minimum of 3 months. Hours will be determined on an individual basis between volunteers and youth.
Free Play Monitors Volunteers will be responsible for monitoring free outdoor play time during Boys & Girls Club hours. Volunteers will make sure rules are being followed, maintain a positive attitude and interact with members as necessary/appropriate. Volunteers will communicate with Site Directors regarding free play activities and member situations.
