Beginning on Monday, March 30, 2020, Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County will offer child care services for the school-aged children of essential personnel (Kindergarten through age 12) at no cost thanks to the support of MSDE during the COVID-19 Pandemic.To see the full press release, click here.
Hours of operation: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday Location: 413 Burck Street, Frederick, MD.
Registration is open now for the week of March 30th. Online registration will be required weekly and will be a first-come, first-served basis. Personnel will be required to send a copy of their employee badge for verification and complete additional paperwork as required by MSDE and BGCFC before a child may begin.
No adults other than BGCFC staff will be allowed in the building.
Children will be met at the upper or lower door depending where they have been assigned, body temperatures taken and child signed in. Dismissal will be the same. Meals will be provided by FCPS (breakfast, lunch & dinner; BGCFC will provide snacks).
BGCFC will have games, reading, and exercise time throughout the day. The children are able to work on their assignments with their or BGCFC ChromeBooks via BGCFC wifi. Please do not bring anything additional from home unless you discuss with us individually.
BGCFC requires a minimum of 9 children to open and will take no more than 18 children following MSDE & CDC regulations
